After launching following our annual haulout last September, Tashi and I set sail for French Pass with a reef in the main, stays’l and jib, expecting 25 knots SW’ly. It was a quiet start, but the wind did eventually come and we had an exciting time getting up the coast and behind the Beef Barrels with the wind dead aft and fresh. This pic was taken by our friend Taju Ullrich, who fared us well just outside the cut in Nelson, before our breeze came.   –   Laurence
